Stanley Tucci is an American actor, writer, producer and film director. He has appeared in such films as The Devil Wears Prada, Julie & Julia, The Hunger Games series, and Transformers: Age of Extinction.
Tucci was born in Peekskill, New York on November 11, 1957. His mother worked as a journalist and his father was a teacher. Tucci studied acting at the State University of New York at Purchase. He made his film debut in the 1982 film Prizzi’s Honor. Tucci has since appeared in over 80 films and television shows. He won an Emmy Award for his performance in the miniseries Winchell in 1998. He is also a writer and director – his first film, Big Night, was released in 1996. Tucci has also been nominated for several other awards, including an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.
Stanley Tucci is a versatile and successful actor who has been working in Hollywood for over 35 years. He is someone who definitely deserves to be more widely known and appreciated.
