Seth Rogen is a Canadian-born American actor, filmmaker and comedian. He began his career performing stand-up comedy during his teenage years, winning the Vancouver Amateur Comedy Contest in 1998. After moving to Los Angeles for university, he appeared on television programs such as Judd Apatow’s Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared, and starred in the short-lived sitcom Da Ali G Show. In 2000, he made his film debut playing a supporting role in the teen comedy drama High Fidelity.

Rogen has also done voice work for the animated films Kung Fu Panda (2008), Horton Hears a Who! (2008), Sausage Party (2016) and The Grinch (2018). He has written, directed and starred in several comedies, including Superbad (2007), Pineapple Express (2008), Funny People (2009), This Is the End (2013) and Neighbors (2014). In 2016, he produced and acted in the drama film Humpback Whales.
