He is known for his tough guy persona and his skills in martial arts and street fighting. Jason Statham was born on 26th of July, 1967, in Shirebrook, Derbyshire, England. His mother, Eileen Yates, was a dancer and his father, Barry Statham, was a lounge singer. Jason has two older brothers named Lee and Steve. Jason Statham began his career as a model for French Connection in the 1980s. He then went on to appear in commercials for companies such as Levi’s jeans, Perry Ellis, and Coca-Cola. Statham’s film debut was in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998. He has since starred in films such as The Transporter, The Italian Job, Snatch, Crank, War, and The Expendables.
